Team Rector

The PCC of Wrangthorn, after much discussion have decided to withdraw from the proposed Team Ministry of St Michael’s, St Chad’s and St Augustine’s. Instead they join a partnership with St George’s.

St Augustine’s PCC Secretary has written to everyone at St Michael’s and St Chad’s thanking them for their patience and support during  the difficult last months and hopes that they will remain in contact with St Michael’s and St Chad’s.

The post of Team Rector for St Michael’s and St Chad’s will be advertised in January (advertising just before Christmas is not recommended) and we hope and pray that the right person for the job will be found.

New Rotas for 2012

Please see Stacy if you can spare an hour during the week on a rota basis to help with any of the following:

  1. Church Brass - altar rails (one side per person), Lady Chapel cross and candlesticks.
  2. Additional person to help make the tea/coffee after the Wednesday morning service.

Pastoral Care

If you know a member of the congregation who is housebound or ill and who might appreciate a visit from a member of the Pastoral Care Team please would you let the churchwardens (Rebecca and Ann) or the Verger (Ben) know.
